(unless I’m delivering my baby that day, then it might be postponed)
at 17 Siskin Bay, Landmark
Time: tba
If you’re on Facebook, I would highly recommend ‘Like’ ing the Distaff&Spindle page in order to receive up-to-date notifications of time changes and other information.
Almost done pricing!
Here (above two photos) you can see we’ve got straw, raphia, sisal hats; cotton scarves and raw silk ones, hand-embroidered table serviettes, baskets (of course), crocodile-skin purses and wallets, large and medium sized batik prints to hang on the wall, vanilla beans, wood and raphia trivets (which is a fancy name for the hot pads you put on the table under your hot pots straight from the oven).
unset semi-precious stones including citrines, beryl, garnet, tourmalines, jasper, aqua-marine, etc.
Unset stones can be taken to a jeweler to set in your own style preference. My family usually uses the guy from Bijou. He has a shop in St.Boniface and also on Osbourne. If you need help with setting suggestions i can show you my own collection and we can talk ideas.
New this year: small and large hand-carved tropical hardwood (palissandre) bowls which are great for fruit, salads, popcorn, decor, …
and volcanic rock foot scrubbers. They are awesome!! (in fact, i’m probably going to swipe one for myself pre-sale. )
Stay tuned. More information about the sale, requests for help, and more sneak peeks into stock items to come.
